“World Cup Kicks” Giveaway — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF

WINNING.

1. Sponsor

This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, (the 

“Sponsor”). The Giveaway is administered by the Sponsor. 

2. Not Sponsored by Meta / Instagram / Facebook

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta 

Platforms, Inc., Instagram, or Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information 

to the Sponsor and not to Meta, Instagram, or Facebook. Any questions, comments, or 

complaints regarding the Giveaway must be directed to the Sponsor, not to Meta. 

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of 

Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, 

and directors of the Sponsor, its franchisees, and their respective affiliates, and the immediate 

family members and household members of each, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by 

law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. 

4. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on July 15, 2026 8am EST and ends on July 20, 2026 5pm EST.

 (the “Giveaway Period”). The Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for 

the Giveaway. 

5. How to Enter

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. During the Giveaway Period, find the 

official Giveaway post on the Sponsor’s Instagram page @badasscoffeeofhawaii and leave a comment, answering the prompt in the caption. Each qualifying comment counts as one (1) entry. Liking the post is encouraged but is not required to enter. 

Limit one (1) entry per person; if a person comments more than once, only their first qualifying 

comment will be counted. Entries that are late, generated by bot or script, or that do not 

otherwise comply with these rules are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are 

lost, delayed, or not received for any reason. 

6. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii e-commerce gift card valued at 

[$100.00] (the “Prize”), redeemable only at https://badasscoffee.com/ Approximate Retail Value 

(“ARV”): [$100.00]. The gift card is redeemable online only and may not be redeemed at 

franchised retail locations. The Prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash, 

except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of 

equal or greater value if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable. 

7. Winner Selection, Verification, and Notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries 

received during the Giveaway Period, on or about July 30, 2026. The odds of winning depend 

on the total number of eligible entries received. 

Before the Prize is awarded, the Sponsor will verify that the potential winner meets all eligibility 

requirements in Section 3. The potential winner will be notified by direct message and/or email 

and, as a condition of receiving the Prize, must confirm his or her eligibility (including age and 

state of residence) and agree to the release in Section 10 within [5] business days of 

notification. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within [5] business days, does not 

respond, declines the Prize, is found to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these rules, the 

Prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random from the remaining eligible 

entries. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry it reasonably believes to be 

fraudulent, duplicated, or generated by automated means. 

8. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Because 

the ARV of the Prize is below $600, the Sponsor does not anticipate issuing an IRS Form 1099; 

the winner remains responsible for any tax obligations that may apply. 

9. General Conditions

By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the 

Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway. The Sponsor 

reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these 

rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or 

terminate the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable 

control impairs its integrity, consistent with applicable law. 

10. Release of Liability

By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, its franchisees, and their 

respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any 

injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of the 

Prize. By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the Sponsor’s use of his or her name an city/state for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. 

11. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at 

[privacy policy URL]. Information will be used only to administer the Giveaway and as otherwise 

described in that policy. 

12. Winner List

For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii.  

Attn: World Cup Kicks Giveaway, within [60] days after the drawing date. 

13. Governing Law

This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of [state], without regard to conflict-of-law 

principles.
